Before and After

BEFORE

AFTER

This project is one of the many reasons I love owning a home. We can do things to it and make it better. Mark has been hard at work in our front yard. When we bought the house there was a big landscaped part right in front with lots of different plants and LOTS of dirt. Don't get me wrong, I really loved it and was sad to see it go, but it had to go. So to simplify our lives and the mud problem (our boys are addicted to the mud) Mark leveled out the area and placed sod there, with a tiny space for a flower bed. Then we wanted to put up vinyl railing and he did that a couple of weeks later and it looks amazing. He did a wonderful job and it is so nice to have a husband who #1 Can do almost anything and #2 Likes to do them. So Kudos to Mark and all his hard work. Unfortunatley his "Honey To Do" list just keeps getting longer and longer, even though he crosses things of of it all the time.

Big Shoes to Fill.....

Ryan and Jonathan love to put on Daddy and Mommy's shoes and wear them all around the house, so I had to get a picture of them one morning. They were too cute to not get a picture.

Putting our family on the blog has been fun and as I look at other blogs I realize that I may have some big shoes to fill, to make our blog better than it is but I have decided that this is our spot and I like it the way it is. It gets our point across, pictures and words, that is all we need right now.
As you will notice, I have not posted for a while, and then I have posted a lot. Well I have come to the conclusion, that this is the way our lives work around here, we are going, going, going, and then I have a few minutes and I will take them to do some posts. But I have decided to not feel guilty about not posting for a while, even a long while, because this is suposed to be fun and when I worry about it, it is not fun. So with that said, there will probably be many posts at once and then none for awhile and that is OK!! For those of you reading, I hope you will endure with our craziness and just enjoy the posts when they come. There I feel better!!!

A failed attempt at Easter pictures!

Jonathan was the first one to the living room for pictures and he was smiling and happy, but he had to wait so long for his brothers that he was done and as you will see we did not get one good Easter picture. So I have come to the conclusion that maybe we will do individual pictures for the next few years.

Miles, Ryan, and oh there is Miles again. But no Jonathan
Mark finally had to force Jonathan to at least get in the picture and he is doing his best to not be cooperative. So none the less, we will try agan next year and hopefully we will succeed

Soccer Time

Ryan the PeeWee Soccer Star
(yes he does have shorts on under that shirt)
Miles is all ready for his first game.
He scored three goals in a row, his first game, and he was sooo excited. It was so fun to watch him do so well. His coach told him that he should tell his M/D that he earns a dollar for each goal. I decided to X that one quick, since he has scored every game since then. If I start it with him, I have three more boys to follow, so Nah we will just go to icecream once in a while instead.

Who is this Masked Monster?

Most people are probably wondering what kind of mom lets her son put underware on his head? "GROSS!" Well I guess I do.... Ryan loves to be the underware monster and put them on his head and chase us all around the house. (He actually started the game with Mark, so I guess he is the one who lets our son put underware on his head.) But one morning, Miles wanted to take pictures and so Jonathan and I were posing and "the underware monster" kept getting in all of the pictures.
Miles was trying to scare the monster from his picture, but the monster doesn't scare easily!
He brought the camera to me so I could take pictures of him. I guess he wants this documented for history, so I am all for it.

Here is the "underware monster" unmasked, he sure is cute, even for a monster!!

Boys Love Tea Parties Too!!

Yesterday, I was inside cleaning blinds (YUCK!) and Miles and Ryan kept running around taking the table and chairs outside, getting stuffed animals, and Miles came in for something to put the fake rose in that they found across the street in the field. Then they came in and invited me to their tea party. It consisted of YoGos, Peanut butter crackers, fruit snacks, Minties candies and Capri Suns. It was so cute and fun. They were so proud of themselves and we had a great time enjoying the sun and our fun little "tea party" Although our family will be full of boys, I will still get to enjoy a tea party once in a while.
