Ryan's Pirate Party

Ryan decided last year on his 3rd birthday, that when he turned four he wanted a pirate party. So he was so excited when it finally came true. We had a really fun day and I think Captain Ryan had a blast. We made treasure boxes, then went on a really fun treasure hunt that Mark put together and then we played a few more pirate games. Then we had a treasure chest pinata that the kids all used their new swords to break open. The kids really loved the pirate cake that the gallery maid put together. All in all it was a great party, low key for mom (aka gallery maid) and really fun for everyone who came.

I put this in because the background is absolutely gorgeous

Ryan wore his eye patch the entire party. I thought it was cute he wanted to stay the captain the whole party

Arrrghhh Matey

Great cake! Gunnar has asked for a treasure chest for Christmas this year. Maybe I'll put him off and save it for his 6th birthday instead...and copy you shamelessly on your party theme! You are one cool Mom.
